Monique BRAUN

Monique Braun was born on March 20, 1932 in Paris to her parents Felix and Pauline and her siblings Anne, Raymond and Sam. When Monique was 6 years old, she and her family moved to Clermont-Ferrand where they resided until their arrest on November 12, 1943. After a few days spent in internment in Clermont-Ferrand, Monique and her family (her parents and older brother Sam) were transferred to Drancy from where they were later sent on convoy 64 to Auschwitz. Because of her young age (11 years old), Monique was immediately guided by the SS, along with her mother and father, to the gas chambers where she lost her life.

Thanks to Malka Braun for the photo and the testimony
