Renée ARDITTI was born on July 16, 1909 in Thessaloniki, in northern Greece. She moved to France before the war and lived in Nice. She worked as a stenotypist (transcription of oral speech using the phonetic alphabet) before being arrested in September 1943 when she was 34 years old. His last known address was 11 rue Guiglia in Nice. She was first interned in Drancy under number 5272 then transferred to Auschwitz by convoy n ° 64.
